Recite Quran as a native
Allah (SWT) facilitated for us the means to seek beneficial knowledge and this is a great blessing from Him that we should take advantage and be grateful for it. It is very easy now to learn Quran online with highly qualified teachers who are native speakers of the language of the Quran. In Quran for kids programs, it is a great opportunity for them to build a strong relationship with the Book of Allah. If they used to dedicate half an hour every day to Quran, it will be a very good habit and they will not find any problem in their recitation in sha’a Allah.
Additionally, the reward of the recitation is tremendous as out prophet (PBUH) said:
‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “[Whoever recites a letter] from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.”
After finishing Noor Al-Bayaan, the student will be ready to start his/her journey in reciting the Glorious Quran. We usually begin with the last portion (Juz’) of the Quran as it is characterized by its short chapters then the second last Juz’ then we begin Surat Al-Fatihah then Al-Baqarah till the end of the Quran. Finally, we will celebrate with the student finishing the recitation of the whole Quran for the first time in his/her life and ask Allah (SWT) for the student to finish it times and times again.
Kids can learn Quran online slowly and gradually according to their level. We can introduce some Tajweed rules, so the student starts to learn Tajweed online too. Therefore, when he/she reached the first Khatmah of the Book of Allah, he/she will have a very good background in Tajweed.
Learning how to recite Quran will help you in your prayer to be able to read Al-Fatihah without mistakes and to recite any Surah you want. It will help you following the Sunnah. For example, it will be easy for you to read Quran in the remembrances of morning and evening, Surat Al-Mulk before sleeping, and Surat Al-Kahf every Friday without difficulty in sha’a Allah.
